Marc Pittman is the author, with Mark Wangrin, of Raising Cole (HCI), an intimate memoir about the loss of his son, a promising football player at the University of Texas, in an auto accident. The book is the story not just of how Marc dealt with this tragedy, but of the 21 years he lived with Cole and the lessons he learned about being a good father, a good friend, and a good man. A movie based on the book is in development.
