Eric Jaffe is a New York-based writer who has written for Smithsonian, the Los Angeles Times, Slate, Boston, Science News, and other leading publications. He has a master’s degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

     He is the author of The King’s Best Highway: The Lost History of the Boston Post Road, the Route that Made America (Scribner, 2010). He is at work on his second book.
